Welcome to our little piece of Northwoods paradise! We are proud to offer six renovated authentic log cabins with modern amenities for your family's vacation pleasure. We want your Minnesota resort vacation to be memorable; and with that in mind we've taken the time to ensure that your accommodations and surroundings are relaxing and enjoyable.

Northshore Bay Resort is located on the northwest shore of Island Lake, a 3,000 acre scenic lake in the Chippewa National Forest. We are three miles south of Northome, Minnesota; 38 miles northeast of Bemidji, Minnesota; and 62 miles northwest of Grand Rapids, Minnesota in Itasca County.

Our six log cabins have been completely renovated and are beautifully maintained with comfortable furniture. The cabins are well spaced for privacy and are surrounded by large trees. Each has a great view of the lake with cabins one, two and three located on the water's edge.

Island Lake provides world-class fishing opportunities with plenty of walleye, northern, bass, crappie, perch, bluegill and sunfish just waiting for your hook. We have watercraft and motor rentals, gas and oil, and freezer space available. Dock fishing here is great and is very popular with the younger guests.

When you stay at Northshore Bay we provide the charcoal grills, picnic tables, lawn chairs, a swing set/playground and a sandy play area, a game room with a library, games, puzzles and a TV/VCR and movies. There's also a large fire pit for nightly campfires.
